There seems to have been a flurry of things I wanted to post about but haven’t yet so here’s a recap blast!
SaskAssemble 3 - this past Saturday we were apart of this great comics and toys show at the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon. Kyrra and I went in on Friday night for an artists jam social evening at Amazing Comics which was a blast to get to visit with people ahead of the show. The show it self was quite fun, a decent sized crowd, and we met some fantastic people checking out the table. Kyrra sold some sketch cards and we sold some comics too. I. Fact we sold out of the stock of the first mega collection within the first two hours of the show!
Issue 14 Debuts!
At Saskassemble 3 we debuted the all new issue 14 to fans, new and old alike, and it sold well in its first day of release. I love the stories in this issue and my collaborations with the artists and writers made for a great addition to the Auroraman mythos! Make sure you get your hands on this one!
Work in Progress
While it always seems that there is stuff I am working on, be it writing or lettering or marketing etc, the biggest thing in front of me is the 10th Anniversary triptych epic story! This massive story is set up to be three books, plus one massive hardcover. I’ve got art coming in at various stages for all parts of these books - some pencils, some full colour, some painted, some from artists doing colours of others work and so on. As pages are finished I format them and check them off the list and then print out copies for my massive binder. It’s a fun process and neat to see pages getting added to the done binder!
